Day 2 of our Road trip took us from Spearfish, SD to Cody Wy.
Our first stop of the day (after breakfast at Perkins) was Devil's Tower, Wy.
Again, wish we had more time as there were some great hiking opportunities around the area. After that, we trekked through the great state of Wyoming. Not a whole lot to see, so Dewey caught up on some sleep.
We stayed at the Irma Hotel in Cody. It's a historical hotel in downtown Cody built by Buffalo Bill himself. The oldest feature of the hotel is the bar in this photo which Buffalo Bill ordered and had shipped over from England.
The hotel was a fun experience even though we didn't have a pull cord on our toilet. (I was looking forward to that!)
The next morning, we had breakfast at the Irma Restaurant which is part of the hotel.
During the summer if you stay here, you can see live re-productions of gun fights nightly.
